Dr. Tan is a Deputy Chief Physician of West China Second Hospital, Sichuan University. She received her master's degree in clinical Medicine from West China University of Medical Sciences in 1997, PhD degree in gynecological oncology from West China School of Medicine, Sichuan University in 2006. Besides, she was a visiting scholar at Cornell University US from 2012 to 2013.

Dr. Tan has worked as a Gynecological Clinician since 199, and she has been the Deputy Chief Physician and Associate Professor of West China Second Hospital, Sichuan University since 2018. She is the Current Head of Day Surgery Department, and Hysteroscopy Clinical Standard Diagnosis and Treatment Base of West China Second Hospital, Sichuan University.

Dr. Tan has clinical experience for over 20 years with excellent open abdominal, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery techniques, especially skilled in treating various difficult diseases of intrauterine. And she also has rich experience in clinical diagnosis and treatment of gynecological tumors and related difficult, critical, and severe patients. She has participated in or mainly studied 5 national, provincial and hospital scientific research projects, participated in the compilation of 6 books and textbooks, and published more than 30 scientific research papers. Currently, she serves as a member of Uterine Committee of Chinese Plastic Surgery Association, Women's Disease and Infertility Prevention and Control Branch of Sichuan Preventive Medical Association, and Gynecology Professional Committee of Sichuan Geriatric Society. Besides, she is the Director of Sichuan Medical, Health and Health Promotion Association, Vice President of the Council of Maternal and Child Health Development Branch of Sichuan Medical Communication Association, etc.
